Mark Gustafson

Mark Gustafson (1959–2024) was an American animator and director whose career was rooted in the tactile precision of stop-motion. After beginning at Will Vinton Studios in the 1980s, he became a key figure in contemporary animation, serving as animation director on Fantastic Mr. Fox before co-directing Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio.
