Yuko Higuchi

Yuko Higuchi is a Tokyo-based illustrator whose film commissions blend folk-art precision with something quietly feral — feline figures, dense floral patterning, and a colour sense that tends toward ritual and dusk. Her Midsommar May Queen screenprint, published in an edition of 500, captures the film's ceremonial dread without replicating its horror. She has created official poster work for A24 across a range of films, including Suspiria, Pearl, and Last Night in Soho. A monograph of her film illustration work was published in 2024.
